Teething Part One - Sophie la Giraffe

This week Amelie has not only had a cold but has been teething too. The poor little thing has needed all the Mummy and Daddy cuddles she could get and Sophie la Giraffe has not left her side. So this week the blogs are inspired by teething and I will share with you a little about Sophie la Giraffe and some natural teething remedies you might like to use.
Amelie has had different teething toys, ones that go in the fridge to stay cold and of varying shapes, sizes and textures. Once we got Sophie all of those toys have become obsolete. Sophie was recommended to us by so many different friends and family that we just couldn’t resist getting Amelie one before Christmas last year.
Who is Sophie la Giraffe? Sophie has an incredible story she has been around for almost 50yrs and was first created as a teething toy in France in 1961… anything that has stood the test of time for half a century must be worth a look, right?
She is made from 100% natural rubber derived from the sap of the Hevea tree and painted with food grade paints which means she is entirely nontoxic and perfect for Amelie and children all over the world to chew on. Amelie loves to play with Sophie even when she is not teething and I am forever hearing Sophie’s squeak all around the room. Check out www.sophielagiraffe.co.uk

Tomorrow I will post some natural teething remedies that worked for Amelie

  1. Thank you. My little guy is cutting his first tooth, so I'm curious about any and all remedies!
